Hi Y'all...
My wife and I currently live in Lake Forest, CA and with our son, daughter-in-law and grand son in N.W. Arkansas, we have put in an offer, that was ACCEPTED on a great house in Bella Vista, AR. Do any of you fine characters live close OR have you lived there before? Would be interested in your take. I like the idea of going from crazy California to a place where I'm on an acre of property and my back yard is a forest...
OF course, my watches go with me!
I MAY even take my wife after 43 years, AFTER we sell our current home..

Thanks for your help!
Dan

I can't help you with the territory, but congrats to you and the wife along with the rest of the family. I think all of those years in the concrete jungle deserves some peace and quiet.

I can imagine. The hustle and bustle can take its toll in time. It's funny when I was a kid away for a while down the shore or up the mountains I grew restless for the city. I couldn't sleep without the noises and fire blowing from the refinery smokestacks.

BELLA VISTA reminds me of COCOON...founded as a summer resort and now a senior place for people who want to enjoy 24/7/365...swish...tyme to call the movers...congrats

I can't help you with the new territory, but a Big Congratulations, to you, and the wife! Here is wishing for you both, joy, and happiness in the new house.

Hoping the move includes that cute mini Schnauzer? Best of luck to you and your family...
Hey buddy, that includes BOTH Mini Schnauzers, Gabriel & Dixie... Like and AMEX Card, never leave home without em! Gabriel (Picture) comes to work with me every day, M-F from 5:30 to 8, when he goes to day care... The little girl stays home with wife...

My wife and I met in Little Rock where we both lived for a year. We knew many people that lived up there and loved it. I only went a few times and that was 20 years ago so I don't remember specific places. It's really pretty up there. Glad to see you are leaving the land of fruits and nuts for a slower pace to life and overall a more grounded community. Congrats and enjoy the scenery and community
