The special model we created for the US Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers, to serve as a memorial to four fallen Swimmers. The artwork on the dial (drawn by a Rescue Swimmer) is packed with specific symbolism. Each Rescue Swimmer is assigned a personal number. In the top surface of each lug we engraved the Swimmer Numbers of those 4 fallen brothers.
We’re extremely honored to have been chosen to make these very special timepieces.

great pics as usual Mike.

I agree and disagree with the reproducing old units thoughts.

On one hand, esp for those who already have these models, something new would be awesome. On the other hand not everyone had a chance to get in on the Viperfish and Shumate and esp get them in the color combos they might have desired.

I mean most manufactures rely on the success of their most popular items so there's no harm there.

I don't see Omega stopping Seamasters or Speedmasters anytime soon. And Oris guys tend to love anytime a new version of the Aquis comes out. So in the end I'd imagine there's a healthy want out there for both old and new.

TBH I think the biggest issue with NFW is that they go so long without stock on anything, new, existing...whatever. It feels like its been forever that all you can get from them is the Valor and spec edt versions of the autopilot.

Thanks Gavin. All of your points are valid and well taken. Maybe GF should try an approach like HELM. Produce various rotations for those who missed out the first time around. It's good to see you around. I hope things are as good as can be up in North Jersey man, stay safe.
