dial painting...not perfect

First attempt at dial painting...not perfect ..but .. I kinda like it .. And yes .. I already scratched it a bit

Took off the logos and markers. Remove old paint and use sending paper to scratch the dial a bit for the spray. Spray two layers and put back the markers and logo (that the hardest part).

All the markers and logos are attached with little pins that fit inside the dial. It's a very small fit and can be removed by a razor blade (my way) and pit back together with a pair of tweezers.

I have some Invicta and Android watches I'm thinking about painting them all black from the outside, right over the crystal. They will be true black out watches and I'll never notice any hazing, markers falling off the dials or any of the ugliness that seems to rear its ugly head.

I think when my daughter gets older and can drive herself and I have more time i may invest in some nice watch tools and start learning some skills. Maybe that can turn into a fun retirement side job???? I have a feeling we are the last generation that will truly want to learn this skill...kind of like masons/brick-block layers
