Stumbled across this group while searching for an instruction manual for a beautiful watch I just picked up today and hope to wear if I can figure out how to get it running again.
It is a Renato Collezioni Beauty Diver ladies' watch. The following appears on the back: Limited Edition, 92 of 162, Swiss Movement ETAG15221, Handmade and assembled, 230 grams of pure beauty, 50 ATM water resistant. The front color is a soft lime green, and I assume the band is stainlesssteel/stainless steel???? If you know how I can obtain a manual or if you have one and would be willing to make a copy of your manual for me, please post a reply.Thank you for any assistance.

Did you check to see if the battery is still good? More than likely that's the issue...

Introduce yourself and welcome to the forum...

Thank you for the quick reply. Without a manual, I don't even know how to check that. I'm afraid to touch anything myself without knowing exactly what to do and which buttons and knobs to push or turn or twist, what they do, and what is supposed to happen if I push/turn/twist something. It's clearly a bit more complicated than an old wind-up Timex. :help: I'm hoping it is just a battery problem as it's a beautiful watch and I intend to wear it. I'll check our local jewelry stores tomorrow when they're open to see if any of them have a knowledgeable watch guru in store. Any idea where I might obtain a manual for it, online or by mail or a copy from someone who has one and hung onto the manual?
My DH (Dear Husband) and I are retired, with nearly 7 rural acres on a dead-end road that is off of a dead-end road about 13 miles from the nearest modest-size town, Nashville and Knoxville about 80 miles away in opposite directions which is where I would be likely to find an experienced watchmaker. I am not a collector since finances do not permit, unfortunately, but I do appreciate and want to know how best to care for this watch.

First, Welcome to the forum! On Monday call MZ Berger @ 718.472.7500, they purchased and service Renato watches. They are located 2976 Northern Blvd 4th Floor Long Island City, NY. 11101. You can also googl e this information. All the best.
Wishing you all that's good!

I will call them in the morning. I did search, using various words and phrases and criteria, yesterday but was unable to drill down to precisely what I want. Been on computers since the little Apple IIGS around 1991 and online since 1997, so computers I know. Watches...not so much, not yet anyway. :p Great avatar, by the way.

Give me a few minutes and I'll take pictures and post them from one of my manuals.

Most excellent. By the way, if I could make a suggestion for forum members, perhaps some of you could add copies of the manuals you have for various watches to a Manuals database. I save and file all my manuals and instruction sheets for everything, but sometimes I buy something from an estate sale, yard sale, garage sale, thrift store, etc., that of course does not have any instruction sheet or manual with it. There are a couple of big databases online where people do share their instruction sheets and manuals in .pdf format so anyone can access and download them free. There's a couple of databases that charge for the service, but most of the time I can find what I need on one of the free manuals databases, but I found absolutely nothing for better quality watches.

As always some great WiT's to the rescue - good job fellas!:applaud:

P.S. Welcome to our family of WiT's & enjoy your tyme here.

That will do it! A Snoopy Happy Dance is being done in honor of all of you who replied and assisted. I just want/need this one watch, so I'll be happy to let y'all know if I stumble over anything worth your while during my yard sale, garage sale, estate sale, thrift store casual bargainhunting this season. I actually picked this up for...…..ready????…………$2 yesterday as the girl who had it in her yard sale said her ex-boyfriend bought it for her and she didn't like it. Go figure. :p

Please don't get me wrong, not doubting your knowledge of PC's. As you probably know far more than me. I was merely covering all bases.
Thanks for the liking my avatar. Some great and very helpful people here.
Once again all the best

View attachment 20022View attachment 20023 As an update, the watch merely required a $5 battery from the jewelry store here, and it runs perfectly. I am captivated by the fine workmanship and quality and feel privileged to own it. I'm researching the backstory and history of the Renata firm now.
I would like to add a link to the band as it is just a hair too tight, and of course I want to keep the watch as original as possible. Any suggestions as to the best place to contact that might have extra OEM links? I will of course also do online research myself, but someone here may well already have the answer so I won't need to reinvent the wheel, so to speak. :p The band is stainless steel/stainless steel.

What does the clasp on the bracelet look like? A lot of times the bracelets have micro adjustments on the clasp. If it's just a hair to tight a micro adjustment on the clasp may take care of it.

Here is a site that has a pretty through list of drawings, manuals and specifications. The list on the left will expand with a drop down menu of brand names in the list. There are many movements that will have multiple listings because they share the same manual. Example: Ronda 505.24H, 505.24.D, 515.24H and 515.24D would share the same manual, but some have separate listings with the same PDF file. No ISA and I'm sure there could be more as well, but it's still better than jumping around from ETA to Ronda and whatever else is on the list.

Looks like you have one of these or similar. Give us a picture if it's different. These are off their larger watches and have removable 22mm screw-in links at the clasp end. Problem would be if your watch is a smaller 38mm or so woman's watch your bracelet would probably be narrower. If either of those look like yours and 22mm is what you measure at the clasp end, maybe someone would mail you one. I will IF I can locate my extras. But I fear they will be to wide. Let us know after measuring what you need.

These are silver just bad light, ignore the color.

View attachment 20026View attachment 20027View attachment 20028View attachment 20029 Hopefully these images will indicate the band closure system. I did not see any way to adjust it, but I don't have a loupe, just a magnifying glass. I'll stop by the jewelry store again tomorrow with the documents I downloaded from the earlier post and see if they have a clue. If necessary, perhaps I could order the extra link from Gleave & Co if they have it. I have friends in the UK and could have it sent there, and have her send it to me if shipping from the UK to the US is a hassle. Surely a good high-class jewelry store here would be able to add the link reasonably easy.

It is definitely a ladies' watch. Does 18mm sound right for the width of a link?

There is no way to adjust the clasp. That's why they always included half links to be able to achieve a better fit.

Bracelet Measurements: 7-1/2" L x 20mm W

At least you'll be able to mod it with aftermarket straps and bracelets. It's hard to tell from the photos, but the lugs look normal. On other models I've seen they are not using captive lugs.

The primary link between the watch face and the band on mine is blank whereas the two you show have "Renato" and "Limited Edition" on the primary link. As you can see from the photos, my band is like the bottom one in your photo.
