OK...found this so called "rare" piece...that being said I loved it...MOP dial, ETA 2824...cool beveled crystal...crazy "flip" open case...a bit big...but hey that's how it is...

I have a cool hornback custom strap coming from the guy Brad told us about...not here yet, but will post it up when it gets here...

Model is 2409...there are a few others I have seen...tried to get a rose gold blue MOP dial, but someone beat me to it...no hate here for Invicta...

As you know I just grabbed a grail for me..the Sinn U1...Love it the mosL...but still like what comes down the pike....

It's what makes this hobby what it is....

NICE score! I love this and always wanted one of these until I finally got to try one on! LOL BIG is an understatement, it looked like I had a refrigerator on my tiny 6 3/4" wrist.

I love a big watch myself but that one I just could not pull off. Too bad because I love the design and concept. I liked the Transatlantic both the round and square cases. Shop HQ I think still has the round available. I have owned a couple JL Reverso watches in the past. I remeber them making a Woman's Times Sq but never got to see or try on one of those I am pretty sure it was just under 40mm. Pretty much was the same as the men's just smaller and I think quartz.

This will not be one I wear often...but when I do...there's not a shirt sleeve that it will fit under...button up and let it shine...and be careful when I swing my arm...LOL

It's a lot of watch.
I have that version and a rosetone version, from when I first started collecting.
I find with my stubby fingers, winding that small crown is a chore.
Otherwise they are interesting.

Yep...the crown does not match the case size...

Nice vintage Invicta. Congrats.

This one has the Sellita SW200 26 jewel movement, not the ETA 25 jewel. The thing is the folks who are selling these online should look at the item thoroughly before they advertise the movement inside.

I can show several examples where they not only get the movement wrong, but some say Flame Fusion and others say mineral crystal. :banghead:
