If you've tried to purchase a Vanuatu during any of our recent sales, you've likely discovered it can be an exercise in frustration! After getting up early, staying up late or taking time off work to be available at the designated sale time, the website slows to a crawl (or crashes) as you feverishly try to add a watch to your cart or make a payment, and you come up empty―sometimes for the second, third or fourth time.
When this scenario played out yet again during our most recent sale, and our website crashed and burned under the strain, we finally realized it's time to find a better way. Beginning with our next sale, we'll implement a waiting list, which many folks have urged us to try for quite some time.
How will it work? Anyone interested in the Vanuatu should sign up for the waiting list―no deposit required, just a name and email address. When stock is available, we'll contact interested buyers in the order in which they joined the list, with instructions for making a purchase. Buyers will have 48 hours to make a purchase before their buying opportunity is passed to the next buyer on the list.
We'll also conduct occasional "lottery" draws from the names on the waiting list, so even if you're at the very bottom, there's still a chance you'll be able to purchase a watch sooner than expected.

Vanuatu page, fill out the form and click submit! In the coming weeks, we'll also create waiting lists for the Komodo and Khuraburi.
Thanks again for your interest in the Vanuatu and for your willingness to wait while we produce more. Although we'll likely still come up short in terms of meeting demand, we hope this new arrangement will make the purchasing process less frustrating than before!
