Future Classic? My CasiOak Loves & Hates + New 'Mini' Thoughts + Possible Redesign......
•Apr 3, 2021
Just One More Watch
The Casio GA2100 has been out for 18 months now and I have been wearing mine A LOT, so I thought it was time to do a bit of a long term update. My loves, my not so loves, my thoughts on the new CasiOak Mini, and what I would LOVE to see Casio do with this model in the future. Let me know your thoughts on this one please. Cheers, Jody

These new models inherit the octagon form that was also employed for the original DW-5000C. Analog-digital timekeeping comes packed into a no-nonsense simple design without sacrificing G-SHOCK level toughness.
High-strength resin material, which is reinforced with carbon fibers, makes it possible to create a case that is a mere 11.8 mm thin, which is the thinnest among G-SHOCK combination models

The latest G-SHOCK to captivate the watch collecting community is also the thinnest. This octagonal-shaped design, featuring both analog and digital displays, is inspired by the form factor of the very first G-SHOCK from 1983.
