Track, hunt and study the wonders of the animal kingdom in Red Dead Online's latest Frontier Pursuit, The Naturalist.

In The Naturalist, explore diverse locales, encounter majestic new Legendary Animals, and forge your own path as you choose whether to use these findings to learn new skills or bolster your resources and material gains.

Accomplished conservationist Harriet Davenport is looking for adventurers to help her track down specimens and further her extensive knowledge of the animals of the five states. At odds with Harriet's mission is retired big game hunter Gus Macmillan, who will compensate you handsomely for your hunting skills.

The Naturalist also features a new Advanced Camera, new animal-based Free Roam Events, new weapons, and more. The Naturalist is available now.

I started with Pong in the early 70's, Atari 2600, Activision games for the atari, , Colecovision, the atari 5200 a huge box that fizzled fast with a horrible controller, so bad you had to buy a outside company's joystick to make the system useful, Nintendo NES, Sega Master system, Sega Genesis, NEC turbografx I think it was called with Bonk's Revenge and Splatterhouse, which didn't last very long in the late 80's, early 90's, then the original playstation then I quit cold turkey. Still have the playstation and a ton of games in case when I retire I want to go retro fun. My brothers have all the upgraded new systems and I'm just too damn lazy to put the work into the games which look incredible.

I was a kid when the 64 came out, and that blew us all away. Now, they are works of art. I can't wait for the new Xbox to come out this December. Going to be amazing.

My best friend & I went to our favorite pool room in a nearby bowling alley one night long ago. On the way in we came across a new video game console. I was used to playing pinball for a dime, 3 games for a quarter, so I wasn't crazy about trying the unknown at 25 cents a pop. I ended up dumping about 5 bucks in that Pong game before we moved on to the pool room. Over the years I've played a gajillion video games. I've owned Atari 2600,400 & 800, Sega Genesis, Mattel Intellivision, Nintendo, Xbox,Xbox 360, Xbox 1,Wii, and many hand held games. Playing with my son in law and grandchildren has been a ball. I only stopped when my sight got too bad to see everything any more. When you think of how it started, it's amazing where the technology is today. I've seen the same transition from the 1st hand held calculators to the personal computers we have today. Crazy. But I must say - there is nothing,(well, maybe 1 thing), that gave me the same pleasure of dropping a dime in a pinball machine, pushing that button and keeping that ball in play for as long as possible. The lights, sound, flippers......great stuff. Try one sometime.
Thanks for this one, Mike.

I used to play pinball obsessively at my local bowling alley. I had so many toy level pinball machines when I was a kid and I'd keep getting an upgrade then my parents bought us a reconditioned professional machine for the house when we were in our teens and I played it constantly. Was at a bar (before Covid) in February and played a machine for about an hour. Man the new ones sure have a lot going on. I liked the old game systems and classic arcade games but pinball is still my favorite of all time. I even had many pinball video games for whatever system I owned at the time.

You know what I'm talking about, my friend. I also had every pinball video game and countless table top toy games. But nothing could satisfy the itch like the real thing. And, unlike the video games, you also burned some calories playing pinball. Sensory overload. :p
