Dissapointed in Oris

I've been a fan of Oris for several years and have owned several models. When their Heritage 65 Chronograph came out last year it immediately went on my must have list. Fast forward to last week and I find it at a very good price on the grey market. Yesterday it landed on my desk and the first thing I noticed was how much play the bezel had. It moved a couple of mm in either direction and because of the movement it was hard to align. The second thing - not as important but it did bother me -was that the bracelet uses push-pins. I'm ok with push-pins but not so much on a watch that sells for 3K. Maybe it's part of the vintage vibe but the bezel issue and the push-pins just killed it for me. Back it goes and the search continues.

Thanks RW. TBH, I wanted the Tudor BB chrono but the 5K is a little out of my range and thought this would be a good option.

Not what I would expect from Oris. Maybe you just got a lemon, I would have sent it back and asked for an exchange...

Wow! I"m sorry to hear that. I am a fan of Oris myself and that is a disappointment. That is a nice looking watch, too bad it has those setbacks. Good luck on your next acquisition. (maybe the Tudor)

Hate to hear that. It's a beautiful watch. Maybe you just got a lemon :dunno:

That Sucks. A 3K watch with push pins...........should be a swiss law against that........

Sorry to hear about the disappointment in this piece.:palm: Here is wishing you fare better on the next one.
