The new Heritage Tourbillon Double Peripheral in white gold is decorated with an engraving of the city of Lucerne, which is the result of more than two weeks of meticulous craftsmanship. This is an ode to Carl F. Bucherer’s home, and more than 130 years of watchmaking art.

Monochrome Watches

Recently, the MONOCHROME team visited the Geneva Watch Days, the main horological event of the year in Europe, with more than 15 brands presenting their novelties for the year. From independent watchmakers to established brands, we were able to discover most of the new watches for 2020. Part of the show was Carl F. Bucherer, the Lucerne-based watchmaker, which this year launches several impressive watches. From the new edition of the complex Tourbillon Double Peripheral to the stealth edition of the Patravi Scubatec, as well as a fresh version of the Manero Fyback on steel bracelet or an array of colourful TravelTec watches, we show you everything the brand has for collectors this year. We talk with Samir Merdanovic, Head of Manufacture Movement at Carl F. Bucherer, to discover it all.

The textile part of the strap of the Patravi ScubaTecBlack, made from 100% recycled bottles from the ocean, is a statement of our beliefs about sustainability.
How important is sustainability to you?

Manero Flyback

Today, having a cosmopolitan mindset has become about more than just being well-traveled – it’s about being open-minded and exuding the confidence and style to succeed, wherever you are. The Manero Flyback was designed with precisely this attitude in mind. Both of the new models from this iconic watch family feature the color blue – the color of the horizon. A 43 mm diameter stainless steel case frames the exquisite blue dial, which features a chronograph counter, small seconds subdial, date display, and central hour and minute hands. This stylish new model is available on a flexible nine-link metal bracelet or a blue textile strap woven from a radiant blue thread with a luster that creates a fascinating 3-D effect.
