Technical. Reliable. Accurate. The C60 Chronograph brings together the build quality of Trident dive collection with stopwatch functionality – on land or at sea. Powered by a Swiss ‘bicompax’ movement – hence the two subdials – it also boasts a ceramic unidirectional bezel and water-resistance to 600m. And at 42mm, it makes a statement whenever you wear it.

The ultimate diving chronograph

As a pure diving instrument, the C60 Chronograph can hold its own with the best. But this is so much more than a diving watch. Thanks to its Sellita SW510 BHa automatic ‘bicompax’ movement, the C60 Chronograph delivers stopwatch functionality through the ‘central-seconds’ hand and 30-minute subdial. There’s also a small-seconds counter for extra timing options.

Both subdials are framed by polished and brushed bevelled PVD rings, while a date window at 6 o’clock and the Christopher Ward logo at 12 supply balance. For colour, bright yellow on the Chronograph’s subdials and central-seconds hand provide contrast against the glossy black dial. And for visibility at depth (or in the dark) the iconic Trident minute and hour hands are filled with Super-LumiNova®.

Crafted from marine-grade stainless steel, the watch’s ‘light-catcher’ case is comfortable to wear and beautiful to look at – and at 42mm, there’s plenty of ‘real estate’ for the dial to breathe. Both the watch’s ceramic bezel and Trident-stamped backplate are finished in diamond-like carbon (DLC), delivering a contemporary ‘stealth’ touch.

Finally, the C60 Chronograph has a screw-down crown and pushers to maximise water resistance.

Sellita SW510 BHa automatic movement

Produced from the same patents as the legendary Valjoux 7750, the Sellita SW510 BHa is a ‘bicompax’ automatic movement with twin subdials and stopwatch functionality.

Like the 7750, the movement has a 48-hour power reserve and a beat frequency of 28,800 – but also adds two extra jewels, helping to reduce friction over time.

The SW510 BHa has two pushers. The top one starts the central second hand with minutes then amassing on a counter at 3. Pressing the lower pusher resets the hands back to their original position.

The SW510 BHa also has a date wheel which can be seen at 6 o’clock, while an integrated anti-shock system maintains accuracy under duress.

Circles of trust

The watch has two subdials: one is a small-seconds indicator, while the other is a 30-minute counter. Both are surrounded by brushed and polished PVD rings.

Strength in depth

Thanks to its robust dive-watch construction, the C60 Chronograph is able to function at a depth of 600m. And there’s a ceramic bezel for timing your ascent perfectly.

Light of the world

The graceful light-catcher case boasts arcing lines through its central point, which are accentuated by brushed and polished surfaces to create a slimming effect.

The hands have it

The unmistakable Trident hands are deep-filled with Super-LumiNova® for clarity in the dark, while the chronograph seconds hand (here in yellow) contrasts beautifully with the black dial.

Stamp collector

The backplate is deep-stamped with the Trident logo – a measure of the watch’s diving credentials. Its DLC coating adds a moody edge.

The Watch that "Dethroned" my Favorite Chronograph of all time - Christopher Ward C65 Chronograph

3 Hand Hunter SCOTTSDALE

In the late 1990's my Breitling Crosswind was my go to watch for so many years. I have not found a Chronograph that could compare, until now. The Christopher Ward C65 Chronograph! See why this 1970's yachting chronograph is so special and why it wears like no other chronograph I have ever owned.
