Casio Pro Trek vs. Casio G-Shock Mudmaster Watch Review | aBlogtoWatch

Ariel Adams of aBlogtoWatch compares the updated 2020 versions of the Casio Pro Trek (Ref. PRT-B50-YT-1) and Casio G-Shock Mudmaster (Ref. GGB100-1B) watches. Both timepieces have the same price point and utilize the same movement, which is Casio’s analog-digital Quad-Sensor Module 5594. The four on-board sensors are an altimeter/barometer, compass, thermometer, and step counter. In addition to the standard stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm, world time, and sunrise/sunset features, the module also offers Bluetooth connectivity with Casio’s smartphone app.

This particular reference of the Casio Pro Trek is a step up from the core Pro Trek line, as it features a black IP-coated titanium bracelet and clasp which is quite thin, comfortable, and of course, lightweight. A rotating navigation bezel surrounds the highly legible dial, and the watch is water-resistant to 100m.

This reference of the Mudmaster features a stealth/blacked-out colorway and retains all the other features of the GGB100 lineup: the 55.4mm-wide case utilizes a new carbon core construction and true to its G-Shock DNA offers shock, water, dust, and mud resistance.

Pricing for both watches is $380 USD.

If your a Casio, or G-Shock fan, this should be of interest. Thanks Mike.:hat:
