$399.00-$120.00 = $279.99 I guess you did pay less. Still playing price games I see. Someone else at the helm, but still the same kind of crap going on.

Then there is tax I show no tax 78.79 to make that total of 421.39 I didn't have that.
 
No didn't use that discount the price on the Sea Storm was the same they just switched watches but I had to pay 7.65 to get the total price of 339.15.
 
When I preordered the sea storm in Oct price was 399 before using g the 15% discount. The one thing I don't like is I am getting bombarded by texts and emails of different discounts everyday. I told Maria this is one of the fastest way to lose customers by doing crap like this. Also noticed on a message this morning said you can cancel your order at anytime before delivery for a full refund.

Towards the end of the checkout process the tax drops off. Either way their site is totally F%$#ed up. They automatically add $3.45 shipping protection to the order if someone isn't paying attention to remove it. It's only a small fee, but seems ass backwards. Instead of having to remove it there should be an option to add the protection if desired.

Welp after all this I received an email from Maria late last night canceling the Umi super compressor due to lack of sales . I guess I was the only one she asked if I wanted to go back to the sea storm 2 Or a.refund took the refund.and wished her luck in the future and I will look to see what they have in the future.
 
I can't say I'm surprised with this one not making it into production. Hopefully they will take a break and come back stronger after the dust settles from the crazy wheel of fortune past year.
 
Was gonna order. Seems awful quick to cancel due to lack of sales. I didn't even know they had opened for sales.

If I were to proceed with the pre-order it would make it unprofitable for us as a company. As a result, I have refunded your pre-order payment in full.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to you for showing interest in our product and for placing a pre-order. We appreciate your confidence in me and I am truly sorry for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation of the launch.

I understand that you may be disappointed, and I want you to know that I did not make this decision lightly. I have put a lot of time and effort into the development of the Borealis UMI, together with my husband Carlos, and we are just as disappointed as you are that we will not be able to bring it to market at this time.

However, I am committed to bringing innovative and high-quality products to the market, and I hope to have the opportunity to bring the Borealis UMI back in the future if there is sufficient interest from our customers.

I think Carlos and Maria have been doing this long enough to know out of the launch gate if something is going to be viable before pulling the plug. They have done it before with projects that lacked interest. They later tweaked some shelved designs and launched them successfully a few years later.
