Seiko Presage Automatic Dress Watch with 40.8mm Titanium Case, and Sapphire Crystal #SARX057
The SARX057 is a new model in the Presage lineup of dress watches. The watch has a close resemblance to some of the Grand Seiko watches (some are calling it a Baby GS). The SARX057 is powered by Seiko's 6R15 automatic movement operating at 21,600 BPH with hacking and hand winding capabilities. It has 23 jewels with a power reserve of 50 hours due to a Spron 510 mainspring.
The SARX057 features a 40.8mm diameter titanium case that is just 11mm thick. Both the titanium case and and bracelet are treated with Seiko’s DiaShield coating to provide scratch-protection and corrosion resistance. Each individual link on the titanium bracelet is made up of 5 parts - satin brushed on the 3 main parts and polished on the connecting parts. The 2 outer parts are oval and the 3 center parts are faceted.
The SARX057 has rich black dial coupled with polished applied indexes and polished dauphine hands. And finally, the SARX057 comes with a sapphire crystal that is treated with a super-clear coating that makes the crystal almost seem to disappear.
