 Thanks for posting this one up, Mike.:hat:

It's funny suddenly to hear Wing say they are in the process of "upgrading" all their watches to sapphire crystal.
:hmm: I wonder if possibly there might be a future trade in retro fit program so the watches we have with the K1/ Mineral crystals that Aragon updates can be sent in and upgraded.:dunno:

I wonder if he has been reading the haze and mineral/K1 theories floating around in the fog.
I remember him saying that, a while back, also stating that lume would be upgraded, and just overall that he was looking to upscale the builds. Hope it does happen.

While I love the designs and comfortable large sizes, it seems a bit behind the times, the K1 and poor lume.

While I never owned an Android, it seems the standards of those were very solid.

Sapphire crystal and much better lume will go a long way to get me on board with another Aragon. I can see him charging a bit more and us getting a much better timepiece. I also hope he experiments with thicker and longer hands.

In some aspects Android may have been slightly better, but taking the totality of the body of work with all the pros and cons, not by much.

I only have a fraction of Aragon models compared to the original brand.
That translates to having more issues with the early stuff like haze, etc.

Although no excuse for either, I can live with medicore lume vs hazed crystals.
I've never cracked open a watch to relume, but there have been far too many hazy cases opened.

nice watch...will circle back if an NH38 or 9039 ghost buster comes around... AM/PM not for me... other finishes i like them

Looks nice. Am I correct in remembering that when Wing rebranded he initially said Aragon was going to be high quality, low numbered, boutique pieces? Maybe he will start doing that more. I’m excited if he is.

If it's taken Wing the better part of eight years to remember the vision he had for the reborn company after the 2013 lawsuit, "better late than never". I'll remain cautiously optimistic after all this time.

Even if someone was not a part of this forum, they would have to be living under a rock as a watch brand designer/company owner to not have noticed the success of brands like ZELOS.

They only use sapphire, good lume and offer smaller sized watches, which always seem to sell out for the most part.

It's hard to turn a blind eye to ingredients that people seem to enjoy. Even the most obstinate mind can tinker with basic things and add their own flair to it.

Realizing sooner or later having an ardent fan base doesn't hurt, but can become one dimensional and stunt attracting more customers causing sales to grow stagnant.

Up to this point it seems like a pretty bold move to alienate his core fanbase for a new release with only offering it in a 42mm size. Even with having plans to offer larger sizes in the future.

Back to your roots to find your roots..........☮️

This looks like a nice looking refined watch. Prefer brushed though or a combo of brushed with some polished areas.

They can keep the high polished finish Steve. I agree a little to distinguish the chamfered edged, etc. isn't a deal breaker, but these fingerprint magnets are.
